Grammy Awards Show

2024 was a huge year, not only in the worlds of politics and social issues, but also music. Music has brought people closer together through difficult eras in human history for millennia, and it continues to do so through awards shows like the Grammys that took place on Sunday, February 2nd. With electric performances from artists like Doechii, to solemn and powerful ones by Lady Gaga and Bruno Mars. The beauty of togetherness and unity through music was put on full display this weekend as artists from across the country and world came together to support those suffering the effects of the California wildfires that ravaged the state early this year. Throughout the show, host Trevor Noah mentioned the stories of survivors as well as pathways to donate to recovery and restoration efforts going on.

Despite immense challenges, musical artists have never failed at uniting for a cause, showing the world the possibility of a future where everyone can be supported, even by a complete stranger.
