The Borogove

A Place for Creative Growth and Reflection

By Keira Kinnier

Maggie Walker’s literary magazine, The Borogove, creates a space for students to release their creativity through writing and artwork. This year’s theme, “Growth and Reflection; Past, Present, and Future,” allows for a range of interesting ideas to flourish. Creativity is vital for students to succeed, as it allows for new ideas and ways of thinking to develop, and it in- spires and motivates students in an educational space. The Borogove’s theme of “Growth and Reflection” is the perfect way for students to express their creativity while revisiting periods of growth.

Writers and artists can submit their pieces to The Borogove, sponsored by Ms. LeCroy and her creative writing class, by emailing their work as a PDF to mlwgsborogove@gmail. com. All submissions are due by April 29, 2022! The Borogove is looking for a wide variety of mediums, ranging from short stories and poetry, to paintings, sculptures, and photographs. Written pieces do not just have to be in English either; The Borogove would love works in other languages. The main theme for this publication is “Growth and Reflection,” but The Borogove also accepts works not pertaining to this topic.
